The stunning view of the Ganges from the balcony made our stay remarkable. However, navigating the narrow alleys was quite tricky, especially without help.

The experience at Shiva Ganges View was memorable, particularly due to the breathtaking views of the Ganges from our room balcony. The hospitality truly stood out. from the excellent airport shuttle service to the supportive staff who helped with any questions we had during our stay. The location provided easy access to nearby ghats and attractions, making our explorations very convenient. The room had a comfortable bed, but the noise from the street outside was a bit disruptive. Breakfast options were rather limited, which could be improved. The guesthouse has steep steps, typical for the area, so be prepared for a little workout when navigating to the upper floors. Overall, a unique and charming experience with some room for enhancement in food offerings.

missingWrote a review on 31 Octrooftop viewtraditional ambianceaccess issue
The rooftop view overlooking the river is a standout feature, especially during sunrise and sunset. The rooms offer a traditional Indian design and are well-decorated, allowing for a unique ambiance.
Access is a major hassle. navigating the narrow, dirty lanes can be tricky, particularly with luggage or for older travelers. Lights can go out often, which means air conditioning might not keep up during peak heat. The shower setup can be inconvenient, and banging noises from the bed in Room 3 can disrupt sleep. Additionally, there's no minibar or fridge, and the steep stairs make getting to the upper floors an exhausting trek.

We had an unforgettable time at this guest house! The rooftop yoga center overlooking the Ganges was a highlight, and the extremely warm staff made us feel at home. Definitely check out the local spots and ask for tips from the owner. Loved the authentic feel and great breakfast.
Be aware that access to the guest house can be tricky. it’s hard to find your way without a guide due to complicated alleyways. So, ensure you have someone to help you navigate those narrow streets!
